A mala is the most ancient form of a rosary, used to count the repetitions of a mantra or a prayer, as the spiritual self is trained. Sit, with eyes closed and repeat the Mantra as you pass each bead through your thumb and middle finger.
Kali is the Hindu Goddess of time and destroyer of all. She transcends good and evil. She is all creating and all consuming, loving teacher, and protector. Kali burns away limitations and ignorance in her devotees. She teaches one to think of death and disaster as lessons, thus awakening us to reality, which then enables one to conquer fear and experience freedom.
Each bead is 18 mm in size and made from carved bone. The mala is approximately 28 inches in length, includes burgandy tassel. Made in India.
I spend time selecting malas that are high quality & speak to me. I do my best to accurately describe each mala and include photos that aren't enhanced.
